We are a breeder of this speical and delightful AKC rare breed, located near Fenwick Island, Delaware. Our keystone dam is Nyxaras Lorestone of Imladris Abnoba, aka Nyxa! Nyxa's mother is Scarlet, of New Zion Shilohs, the original kennel for the breed.

History of the Shiloh Shepherd Breed

The Shiloh Shepherd is a giant shepherd dog bred to be larger, calmer, and more family-friendly. Shilohs sprang from German shepherd lines which were then mixed with other breeds to improve health and develop the breed's distinct look and temperament. Shiloh's are a giant breed, significantly larger than most of today's German shepherd dogs.
